New Year, new online sessions

The new year brings heaps of online content from a few of the charities I work for:

Soundabout - have an extensive online schedule, predominantly designed for young people with SLD & PMLD, as well as running family and school music sessions.

Music Train - we currently meeting for online music sessions every Wednesday at 2pm on Zoom! This was originally set up by Liz Gray, to provide daytime music and art for those who aren't able to attend evening events and concerts - and is open to all. It is a lovely, diverse community of musicians and music lovers based in and around Bristol.

Electric Umbrella also have an array of musical activity online designed to bring people with learning disabilities together.

Live Music Now have loads of pre-recorded 'At home' videos designed for care homes and schools here. They are also running 'Music in Care' Facebook Live sessions on Wednesday afternoons, with an amazing variety of professional musicians.

The Amber Trust and Soundabout offer free family music sessions (currently on Zoom) and resources for young people with special needs. Amber Plus is a family music service for visually impaired children with complex needs aged 5-18. Little Soundabout and Soundabout Life are specialised music projects for young children (0-5) and young people (aged 19-25) who have profound and multiple disabilities, and their families.
